You can make a difference! Here are some examples of what your donation can accomplish…
Our Community Reads
- $5,000: Gift of one book for every student in one school or sponsoring a month’s worth of Reading Rounds in one school district with two trained readers.
- $1,000: Gift of one book for each student in one grade level in one school, sponsoring a night of book giveaways for a Family Fun Literacy Night, or a week’s worth of Reading Rounds in one school district with two trained readers.
- $500: Gift of one book for each student in one classroom, sponsoring a week of reading rounds for one trained reader, or sponsoring a class for trained readers.
Infant and Toddler Book Club
- $5,000 – Literacy Champion: Sponsor six full months of book supplies for our Infant & Toddler Book Club, helping children across the county build their home libraries and grow a love of reading from the very start.
- $1,000 – Storytime Sponsor: Fund one full Book Club event, covering books, enrichment materials, staffing, and everything needed to deliver an engaging and educational experience for families.
- $500 – Monthly Materials Supporter: Provide books and hands-on materials for one month of programming — giving little learners the tools they need to read, play, and thrive.
- $100 – Story Starter: Provide books for 1-2 Infant and Toddler Book Club event(s).
Adult Education
- $5000 – Sponsor 2 adult learners for weekly classes for a year, Sponsor a workplace readiness or peer tutoring class for local teens
- $1000 – Sponsor a small class series in financial literacy, health literacy, or workplace skills
- $500 – Supplies textbooks and helps to fray testing costs and application fees for the GED test, or transportation for a learner to get to their test.
